What changed

  • record the verified permanent-key alpha.6 artifact and successful in-place physical acceptance
  • make alpha.6 the current accepted tester build and close the repair boundary
  • clarify that commands entered directly in the raw terminal do not create persisted transcript turns
  • defer broader automated release-path and device acceptance as a designed test-infrastructure slice

Why

Alpha.6 installed over rejected alpha.5 with retained state intact and passed the focused password, retained imported-key, Diagnostics, structured-command, and same-session raw-terminal checks. The documentation still described permanent signing and physical acceptance as pending.

The physical pass also surfaced an expected product boundary: raw-terminal input writes directly to the shared PTY, while structured transcript cards are created only for composer submissions between lifecycle markers.

Impact

Invited technical-alpha use is now the only remaining Phase 5 boundary. Alpha.5 remains immutable and rejected; alpha.6 is the accepted tester build.

Validation

  • physical acceptance reported on the Galaxy S25 Ultra
  • signed artifact identity, version, certificate, v2/v3 signatures, checksum, and 16 KiB alignment independently verified
  • implementation and specification inspected for raw-terminal/transcript behavior
  • staged diff check and secret scan passed
